Mr. Howell is the father of Jason "Papacarp"
Carpenter, a PGR member. Mr. Howell
was born on August 31, 1927 in Moore Haven, Florida to Amedicus and
Beatrice Howell. He and his wife Charlene Howell were married on
March 6, 1981 in Durant Oklahoma. He was a Navy veteran, having
served from 1944 until 1964; serving in WW II, the Korean War and
the Viet Nam War as a boiler tender aboard navy ships. He also
served at Guantanamo Bay during the Cuban Crisis. He is survived by his wife of nearly 28 years, Charlene Howell of Joshua, sons, Rick Howell of Florida, Jimmie Carpenter of Ft. Worth, Jeff Carpenter of Maypearl, Jason Carpenter of Cleburne, two brothers and ten grand children. Part 1 – FFuneral Service: Thursday, July 2,

flag line for the interment service. Due to rural area and
limited amount of level parking near the cemetery I ask that you
use caution when parking. Weather: Forecast is for sunny with a high of 99 degrees with light and variable winds becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
