Obituary:

Alan Campbell Kesler, 63 of Dallas, Texas, passed away on
Wednesday, August 4, 2010. He was born in Holly Springs,
Mississippi on July 20, 1947. Alan graduated from Oxford
High School in Oxford, MS and then served six years in the
U.S. Army. After his honorable discharge, he attended the
University of Mississippi where he received a Bachelor of
Science degree in Business. Alan retired from the Texas
Attorney General's office after twenty-two years as an
investigator. He is preceded in death by his father, Silas
L. Kesler. Survivors include, wife, Anna Ruth Kesler;
mother, Lynda Kesler of Clinton, MS; daughters, Cyndi
Goodgame and husband Steve of Batesville, MS, Ellen Norrod
and husband Jeff of Mansfield, TX; step-daughter, Christy
Marshalek and husband John of Clinton, MS; step-son, Jeff
Clemons and wife Kortni of Oxford, MS; brother, Tom Kesler
and wife Lori of Clinton, MS; grandchildren, Jhericha
Goodgame, Alex and Dani Norrod, Michael Marshalek and Jack
Clemons; and a niece Olivia Kesler. A Memorial Service will
be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 10th at Chism-Smith
Funeral Home Chapel with interment at DFW National Cemetery.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a memorial be made
to the Fisher House Program at the VA North Texas Health
Care in Dallas.
