Escort 354th MED LOGISTIC unit home from Ft. Bliss, Texas after a year long deployment. The unit members coming home do not know we will be doing this. It's a surprise. They are returning 100% of the unit. Everyone is coming home. This unit was in Afghanistan.

PART 1:

Escort 354 Medical Unit to Seagoville, 3-13-10

Mission Date:

03/13/2010

Staging Time:

02:00 PM

Briefing Time:

02:30 PM

In Position Time Or KSU:

03:00 PM

Details Of Part 1:

We will intercept the bus in West Fort Worth and escort them to their unit headquarters in Seagoville. We will stage at Honda West in Ft Worth on Loop 820. ETA is shortly after 3:00p. We need to be flexible in order to be in position when they get close. I will be in contact with an officer on board the bus. We will move to another location to intercept them when they arrive at the specified location. We will most likely be in 5 0clock traffic. We will fly big flags. Speeds can get up to 55 and 60. We may not go that fast, but be prepared.  If your not comfortable with that then I suggest you fly small flags. This will be a very tight staggered formation. Safety, Safety, Safety. This mission is definitely a Semper Gumby mission. Bring drinks and snacks to stay hydrated. The flag and water truck will be in Seagoville. Upon arrival we will stand around and mingle and welcome the troops home. Don't get in front of any family members.
