Also, please be sure you are fueled up for the run from Lawton to WF as there will be no stops for fuel or restroom breaks on the hour long drive. The Wichita Falls Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America has said that they will pay the toll for the leg south into Wichita Falls, but please be prepared to pay yourself just in case logistics prevent their being able to do this. The riders desiring to be part of the escort need to be at the staging location below. The buses are scheduled to depart Fort Sill and will not stop and wait on the bikes at the staging area in Lawton. The riders will pull out as the buses drive by and overtake them and lead them the rest of the way in. The Wichita Falls Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America has said that they will pay the toll for the leg south into Wichita Falls, but please be prepared to pay yourself just in case logistics prevent their being able to so this. As the convoy arrives at the MPEC in Wichita Falls, there will be an additional contingent of PGR waiting for them with our flags. We will hold the flag line for most of the "Social Time" which goes from 6 PM till 7 PM upon which any of us that want to are invited to join the meal and program. We also have been informed that any and all PGR Purple Heart Recipients will be honored and recognized as part of the program. We please need a head count and names of all that plan on attending so name tags and certificates for the Purple Heart Recipients can be made up. There is a registration form attached to the mission announcement so please use it to make the registration process easy and simple for all of us. We need to have these registrations turned in by Saturday the 13th for all of us that wish to stay for the meal and program. If you do not plan on staying for the meal and program you do not have to pre-register. But we warn you that you will be missing out on a great event if you do not stay. Last year was the first year for this event and all of us that attended were touched in some way!
