Robert Joe Horn, Jr., 55; of Red Oak, Texas, passed from this world to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, January 20, 2013. Robert “Joe” was born in Dallas, Texas on September 18, 1957 to Robert Joe “Buddy” Horn Sr. and Patsy Ann Horn. Robert Joe graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins High School with the Class of 1976. After graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corp Reserves where he spent 6 years in the Corp and rose to the rank of Sergeant. On June 3, 1977, he married the love of his life, Debra Jean Horn. He became a reserve police officer for Lancaster Police Department. After transferring to Glenn Heights Police Department, he attended the Dallas County Police Academy. After working for Glenn Heights, he spent 17 ˝ yrs protecting the citizens of Red Oak, Texas on their police force. Robert “Joe” loved his God, his family, and his country. His two grandbabies were the light of his life.
