SGT. Brett Michael Dean, 24, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014 in his hometown of Crowley. SGT. Dean was born on February 16, 1990 in Dallas, TX. He was a enlisted in the United States Marine Corps from 2008 to 2012 and was in the process of reenlisting.

After the briefing, we will stand a Flag Line and await the arrival of the family and friends of Mr. Dean. Following the start of the service, we will return the flags to the flag vehicle and prepare for the procession.

Details Of Part 2:

The times for this part of the Mission are VERY approximate. The interment service will take place some time between 1300 and 1345, but the actual departure time from Skyvue will depend on the length of the service. We will, of course, stage at Skyvue, but the information below is for the cemetery, for those who may proceed directly to that venue. Escort for the procession will be provided by North Texas Motorcade. The route to the cemetery will be determined on the morning of the Mission based on current conditions, traffic, and construction. Once at Little Bethel Memorial Park, we will stand a Flag Line for the interment service. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Marine Corps.

- DRESS CODE: Please Dress In A Manner Appropriate For Attending A Funeral Service.

- Safety First: Please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.

- Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for this patriot and their family. NO TALKING, SMOKING, CHEWING OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!

At the time this itinerary was posted, we did not know which of the five entrances at Little Bethel would be used. If you intend to join this Mission at the cemetery, plan to be at Little Bethel before 1300 and look for the flag vehicle.
