Obituary Highlights:

Morris Irving Grayson, Sr., age 91 and longtime Irving resident also formerly of Childress, Texas, died on July 29, 2014. He was born to Merton T. Grayson and Bonnie Mae Henderson Grayson in Knox City, Texas on May 3, 1923 and went on to serve his country proudly in the United States Army in the European Theater during World War II. Morris served with the Third Army under General Patton and earned a Bronze Star for his valor. He went on to enjoy a career as a machinist for Braniff Airlines until his retirement in 1985. Morris was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed snow and water skiing and just generally being outdoors.

move to the cemetery less than three miles away
