Following the services in Tennessee, Wes will be returned to his hometown of Denison, TX, where he will be laid to rest with full military honors. Wes was born on March 3, 1985, in Denison, TX, the son of Rebecca Harris. He served as a Specialist in the U.S. Army and had served two tours in Afghanistan

Then participate in the procession after the funeral service on Sunday August 24, 2014, from Fisher Funeral Home to Cherry Mound Cemetery in Denison, TX, then stand a flag line there for the interment service.

The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked by the Harris Family to participate in the procession in honor of their loved one, Specialist Wesley Harris on August 22, 2014. We will stage at the Dallas Police Department at Dallas Love Field Airport, where a briefing will be held. After the safety briefing, we will prepare for the procession to Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, TX. Escort service is to be provided by the NTX Motorcade from Dallas Love Field to Central Expressway and North through McKinney, where local Law Enforcement is being arranged to provide escort to Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, TX.

Riders will stage at the Fisher Funeral Home for a mission briefing. After the briefing, riders will prepare for the procession of SPC Harris to Cherry Mound Cemetery. Upon arrival at the cemetery, an Honor Line will be established and a Flag Line stood. Upon completion of the service, flags will be furled and stowed, a debriefing held, and riders dismissed. TIMES FOR THE INTERMENT ARE APPROXIMATE!

- Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for this patriot and their family. NO TALKING, SMOKING, CHEWING OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!

- Cemeteries are hallowed ground. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Show our respect to ALL who are there, not just the one we are honoring.

FRIDAY-THE PROCESSION WILL BE FROM DALLAS LOVE FIELD AIRPORT TO DENISON, TX. BIG FLAGS WILL BE UTILIZED. Anyone that is not familiar with Dallas Love Field Airport, I have photos of the Airport to assist with getting to the staging area.
