Mission Summary:

The family of Mr. Putman has asked the PGR to stand a Flag Line at his funeral service, accompany him on one last ride and again stand a Flag Line at his interment service. Mr. Putman is the father-in-law of long serving Patriot Guard Rider Virgil Curry. The family has requested that we serve as pall-bearers for this American Hero

Details Of Part 1:

The Riders will establish a Flag Line to receive the friends and family of Mr. Putman. Once the service begins, the flags will be returned to the support vehicle. The Riders will then receive the Safety Briefing and when directed, accompany the funeral procession to the cemetery.

After the briefing the Riders will move to Committal Shelter “A” and establish the Flag Line to receive the family and guests for the inurnment service. At the conclusion of the service, the Riders will return the flags to storage, be debriefed and dismissed.

- Safety First: Please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.

- Riders NOT UTILIZING HANDICAPPED PARKING are requested to park as far forward as possible at the Visitor's Center to keep the closest spaces available for other guests.

- Cemeteries are hallowed ground. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Show our respect to ALL who are there, not just the one we are honoring.

DRESS CODE: Please Dress In A Manner Appropriate For Riding a Motorcycle
