SN3 James Misamore served in the U. S. Navy from 12/12/1942
to 03/20/1947 as a Motor Machinist Mate 3rd during World War
II. He was stationed aboard the U.S.S. Griffin and the
U.S.S. Coucal submarine tenders, which did double duty as
submarine rescue vessels. He was awarded the American
Theater Medal, WW II Victory medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal,
Good Conduct Medal, Liberation Medal. His ship participated
in picking up debris from the ocean off the coast of Japan
as a result of the atomic bomb blasts.

SN3 Misamore was born 08/04/1924 and passed away 04/08/2010
at the age of 85. He was a master printer for 30 years in
Findley, Ohio. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in
Findley. He loved to fish, garden and traveling in the
family motor home. .

After the riders briefing at the DFW National Cemetery
Visitors Center, the PGR will establish a flag line at
Shelter D. At the conclusion of the inurnment service, the
flags will be furled and returned to the support vehicle
followed by debrief and riders dismissal.

appreciated.

Riders NOT UTILIZING HANDICAPPED PARKING are requested to
park as far forward as possible at the Visitor's Center to
keep the closest spaces available for other guests.

Cemeteries are hallowed ground. Please keep radios off and
engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit.
Show our respect to ALL who are there, not just the one we
are honoring.
