Michael Loyd Compton, 67; passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in McKinney, Texas. Michael was born on July 13, 1947 to Loyd C. and Lorene Compton in Paris, Texas. Michael would serve his country with honor in The United States Army.
Michael was a talented creative writer. He wrote poetry, short stories, songs and a novel. Michael was also a contributing writer to the Greenville Herald Banner for many years.

The Guard will stage at Peters Funeral Home, hold a
briefing, place the flags, and man the flag line and await
the arrival of PVT Compton’s family and friends. After the
service starts, the flags will be returned to the support
truck, a debriefing held, and the riders dismissed.

Attending A Funeral Service.

can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.

always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget
your sun screen.

this patriot and their family. NO TALKING, SMOKING, CHEWING
OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!
- Cemeteries are hallowed ground. Please keep radios off
and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed
limit. Show our respect to ALL who are there, not just the
one we are honoring.
