Obituary Highlights:

Robert (Bob) A. Garrison passed away at his home in Corinth, TX on October 2, 2104, after a long battle with cancer. Bob was born on July 17, 1959 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He spent 22 years in the United States Army and volunteered for the USO for the past eight years. He was incredibly patriotic- even raising two United States Marines.

Mission Summary:

The Family of SFC Bob Garrison has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a flag line at the Memorial Service, accompany SFC Garrison and family during the Procession to DFW and stand a flag line at DFW National Cemetery for the Interment Service.

Details Of Part 1:

After the briefing, the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders will establish a flag line at the Trinity United Methodist Church. Once the Service starts, the flags will be furled and stowed in the support vehicle. Attendance to the safety briefing will be mandatory if you are planning on being in the procession to DFW. Honors will be rendered as SFC Bob Garrison is placed in the coach. There will be Law Enforcement Officer or Private Escort Service to DFW National Cemetery. 

In the event of rain at the time of the procession, our participation in that procession will be cancelled.

Details Of Part 2:

Patriot Guard Riders will assemble at the Visitor's Center for a briefing at 1300 hrs. After the briefing, riders will move to the shelter and establish a flag line and await the arrival of SFC Bob Garrison, family, and friends. At the completion of the Interment Service and at the Ride Captain's direction, the flags will be furled and stowed in the locker. Riders will be debriefed and dismissed.

- Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for this patriot and their family. NO TALKING, SMOKING, CHEWING OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR CELL PHONE USE IN THE FLAG LINE!

- Let's always remember to keep the motorcycle and voice noise to a minimum when arriving and leaving the shelters.
