Lonelle "Lee" Cecil Nolen Jr. 79, passed away on August 26, 2014 in Garland, TX. He was born on September 19, 1934. Lee was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he grew up and graduated from Tulsa High School. Lee joined the United States Marine Corp in 1952 and retired after 20 honorable years of service. He served in the Korean War and two tours in Vietnam. Lee earned his certification as an Emergency Medical Technician from Tyler Junior College and worked for the Kelly Springfield Tire Company where he later retired. Lee married Sunshine Nolen on December 22, 1958 in Bayport, Texas. They were happily married for 55 years.

MSgt. Lonelle Cecil Nolen was called to his last duty
station August 26, 2014, and the family has asked the
Patriot Guard to stand with them in honoring this American
hero. The Guard will stage at the Buckingham United
Methodist Church at 0900 on 9-01-2014. The flags will be
placed, a briefing held and, at the proper time, the flag
line is to be manned as we await the arrival of family and
friends. After the service starts, the flags will be furled,
a debriefing held, and riders dismissed.
