Mission Summary:

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) has requested the presence of the PGR at their annual fundraiser walk. NAMI helps those with PTSD to improve their quality of life.

We will be part of the opening ceremonies by setting a flag line and leading the crowd of 500+ walkers in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Once the walk begins, we will furl the flags, store them, and be debriefed. If Riders would like to participate in the walk, bring comfortable shoes.

Details Of Part 1:

Opening ceremonies will commence at 07:45. Secured parking has been provided for PGR riders at the park.

NAMI will be providing special NAMI WALKS T-shirts for those riders who are interested.

Riders may participate in the walk, which will cover approximately 2 miles. News crews as well as local and state dignitaries will be present.

- Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.

- Safety First: Please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.

Additional Information:

Entrance to Trinity Park is off of University Drive in Fort Worth just north of I30. The park is good size and the specific location for the event has not been finalized as of the mission itinerary. Riders may have to make their way through the park to locate the temporary pavilion for the event. Secured parking as been set aside for PGR riders.
