The family has asked the PGR to stand a flag line at the funeral service, participate in the procession from the Funeral Home to DFW National Cemetery, and to stand a flag line there for the interment service.

Details Of Part 1:

Riders will stage at the Laural Oaks Funeral Home to be briefed and to stand tall and silent as family and friends arrive. After the service begins, flags will be returned to the support vehicle. Riders will then receive a safety briefing, honor bikes will be selected, and all riders staged for the procession to DFW National Cemetery. Upon arrival at the DFW Information Center, honor bikes will turn into Lane A while the remaining riders proceed to Shelter A to help set the flags and await the arrival of the procession.

Details Of Part 2:

Riders not participating in the procession will stage at the DWF National Cemetery Information Center. After the mission briefing, riders will proceed to shelter A, set the flag line, and wait for the arrival of the procession. After the service, flags will be returned to storage, then riders will be debriefed and dismissed.

Comments:

- Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated.

- Safety First: Please remember to properly hydrate (including the night before) before any outdoor activity and to dress appropriately. Do not hesitate to take a break at any time if you feel you need to get in the shade or get indoors and always ask for help at any time. Also please do not forget your sun screen.

- We will park along the main street close to the designated shelter with 2 bikes side by side as close to the curb and each other as possible so that traffic can get by.

- Riders NOT UTILIZING HANDICAPPED PARKING are requested to park as far forward as possible at the Visitor's Center to keep the closest spaces available for other guests.

- Let's always remember to keep the motorcycle and voice noise to a minimum when arriving and leaving the shelters.
