Floyd Franklin Honea passed away peacefully in Red Oak on October 20, 2015 at the age of 85. He was born on January 10, 1930 in McKinney, Texas. After leaving the U. S. Army, he began working as a federal employee for the U. S. Air Force and the Texas Air National Guard.

Country by accompanying him on his last ride and standing
for him at his interment.

The Riders will receive the Mission Briefing and four honor
bikes will be assigned and staged in lane “A” to accompany
the procession to the Committal Shelter. The remainder of
the Riders will depart for Shelter “A” to establish the Flag
Line and await the arrival of LTC Honea, his family, and
friends. When directed, the Riders will return the flags to
storage, be debriefed and dismissed

- Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and
appreciated.
- Riders NOT UTILIZING HANDICAPPED
PARKING are requested to park as far forward as possible at
the Visitor's Center to keep the closest spaces available
for other guests.
- Cemeteries are hallowed ground.
Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum.
Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Show our respect to ALL who
are there, not just the one we are honoring.
